so i have to questions i have 2 old 512mb pc3200 now that wont work with the new wintec 4gb rite cuz if they do ill lower it to 2 maybe and also is 420w enough to run the 4gb and the heavy GPU?? thanks guys will this mem work together and is this ...

What kind of Power Supply are you getting. If that 420W is a no name that comes with the case then you need to get another one because they are always terrible. If you are getting 4GB of RAM then you should know that 32bit OS only support 3GB max. So unless you have windows xp or vista 64bit then you're wasting money.

i no it only runs 3gb but i want more than 2gb and but they dont sell in 3gb and i could alwayssue it for the future since im geting the gb at a very low price and corretion the power supply is actually 500w not 420w dont no if that makes much diff but also ill look into that radeon is it better than the 8600gts?
Ok but what is the power supply called? Who makes it? Your PSU is one of THE most important parts of your system and you don't want a cheap one.
Far as the ram goes you could get 2 gig and then a 1 gig. That should do.I'm planing on doing the same cause at the moment I have 2 but just to make me happy I'm going to get another 1 gig of ram buy I may have a problem with that cause in order for me to do 3 gigs I need to replace my 2x512 with 1 gig and then that makes 2 still. So then I'll wind up getting another gig so that will make 3 gigs I guess.I'm not sure if ddr ram comes in 2 gigs or not. If so then I may go that away. I have a ultra 1 gig ram and the others are odd balls cause they came from my Mom's old pc.I don't have the money to like start all over but I'm trying my best to get this pc to be a gaming pc but I'm not sure if the ram that I have is that good or not.
