Moving from Striker to P35/x38

Hey gentles,
I posted almost the same question before 1 week and i had some great help from people but everything was just talking without having any decision.
Anyway its going to be like this if i want to upgrade my Asus Striker to either P35 - x38 or even 780i.
If i want to go with x38/780i then i need to pay something close to 50~75$
Going with P35 means that i might get about 50~75$ to my pocket

My choice to go with the first or second choices depends on the price of 9800GX2 and 3870x2 because if they were reasonable priced i wil lget one and put it in P35 mobo. Otherwise, i will get another chipset and get 1(8800GTS or 3870)card and when i have some bucks i can get second to have SLI/CF.

So what do you think i should do ?? STay with my 680i ?? Get x38/780i or get P35 ?? And which mobo you would recommend based on your preferable chipset.
Im having e8400 in afew days and luckily i can run it in my striker so the compatiblity isnt an issue here.

Just to mention that this mobo will last me like 2~3 years untill Nehalem is out to all public with good price.

Honestly, I would just stick with the 680i platform. If it truely is comptaible with Wolfdale, then you've got nothing to worry about on the CPU front. Either way, the 9800 GX2 and HD3870 X2 will work fine on that mobo.So yea, best to stick to what you have, as it has not compatability problems.Moving from Striker to P35/x38

If i go with x38 then i will get 3870x2 and going with P35 means getting the best one from the new cards

personally i dont like amd and ati they are to cheap for me but hey thats coming from my 250 dollar jeans lol. But i love the 780i EVGA board and 88ults alot then u can always buy my old stuff when i upgrade in a couple months =P
