building a laptop

hi there, iv heard its possible to build your own laptop and was wondering whether anyone had any experience with it?is it hard? and does it make as much economic sense as building ur own pc? (ie can you still save lots of money making your own rather than getting it from dell etc.?)building a laptop
If is better to build your desktop yourself because you save alot of money, is not the same thing with laptops. My advice is to buy a laptop not to build itbuilding a laptop
Anything is possible but can you buy the parts for cheap? Also, unlike desktops, laptops don't conform to any standard when it comes to size so you have to make sure all the hardware is compatible with each other in that sense. I've taken a laptop completely apart and it's not fun to put one together, I'll tell you that much.To me it's just worth spending the extra $100-$200 you might spend buying a pre-built then going through the hassle of building your own.
