I building a new pc but I don't know if getting a AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400+ Windsor 3.2GHz is worth it or should I go for AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ Windsor 2.6GHz. Also How much could I overclock them? The both have the same L2 cache and the 6400 is about $70 bucks more. AMD athlon x2 help
Well I would go for the X2 6000+ 3.0 GHZ 2mb L2 cache and is $160-$180 depending where you get and It is almost as fast as the 6400 (200 mhz slower) and is way faster than the 5200.http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103773 AMD athlon x2 help
Depends on what you plan on running. I mean, a X2 5200+ is really all you need with todays applications and games. I guess in the long term the 6400+ would be better.
