What is the most i can overclock to

hey ppl just like to know what the most i can overclock to on a amd 64x2 4200.My pc at the mo is

Asus 570 sli deluxe

Amd 64x2 4200. runing at 2.42hz

2gb ddr2 ram 6400 runing at 800mhz kingston

250 Hdd

Sound blaster

xfx geforce 8600gtAt the mo i have it runing at 2.42..What is the most i can overclock to
Your CPU will tell you that. When you overclock, go in small increments until it becomes unstable. Then back off a bit and up the voltage if you want to go that route. I'm not sure about the 4200, but I wouldn't imagine you could get any higher than a .3 or 4 increase. What is the most i can overclock to
Thanks at the mo its oc i dont that on the bios and let the borad so it it was ment to be 2.2 but now its 2.42.What is a gd way to oc my 8600gt

I have that rivatune and it trully is nice.I have the 8600gt xxx 256mb and I have oc it a bit. I'm not sure what I have at the moment cause I had something go wrong with the driver and my internet is lousy and so I can't upgrade to the latest drivers and could only install what came with the card but anyways I have't messed with it much at the moment cause what came with it seems to run ok.When I did oc it wow I could hear it rev up and it really to me it pored the heat out even more cause when I messed with the core and bus I have to move the fan speed up as well and so it did keep every thing inside of the pc cool but out side of it wow my room got up to 80f but I think it could be just me.
well if your comp has features like mine oc till it wont turn on. then reset the cmos and put the clock under when it shut off.
On mine when I when to oc on the card. My screen would turn different colors like black green gray and some others so I just kept on taking the speeds down until it stopped all of that.Even one time the blue screen came up and I was like O know I have really done it this time but when I reboot it it came up just fine so I was like what a relief.
