Weird Hard Drive Issue

I recently bought a Seagate 500GB internal SATA HD (without perpendicular recording). This is setup as my second hard drive for storage. My primary HD is a WD 250GB SATA with WinXP on it. I'm able to copy (or move) files from the Primary HD to the second HD without a problem. But if I try to move files (cut %26 paste) from the second HD to the primary, it seems to stall, and not really move anything. If I tried moving a folder with 10 files inside the folder, the folder is copied, and only the 1st file is copied (not even moved).

Although, when I get into Safe mode, I'm able to move files (cut %26 paste) from second HD to Primary without a problem. So I'm thinking it's some type of software (hopefully not a virus or spyware) that is blocking that type of access in WinXP.

Has anyone ever experienced something like this? Help appreciated!Weird Hard Drive Issue
I had a similar problem but that was with Windows 98SE, I ended up reinstalling 98.The first thing to try would be to use system restore to restore Windows to before you had the problem.Weird Hard Drive Issue

So I never moved files out of it until today.
