HD3850 only works in one out of four mob ...

It's probably a no-brainer that there's something wrong with the video card if it'll only work in one out of the three motherboards, but I thought I'd run it by you guys before RMAing it. It just doesn't make sense that it'll work in one board but not any others...The new board I needed it to work in is a Gigabyte socket AM2, the other two were Foxconn and Biostar budget 939 boards. The only board I've got it working in is an Asus budget 939 board. The only other thing I think it could be might be my PSU (linked below), but as far as I can tell it's more than powerful enough to run an AM2 system with a 3850.http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817182044Processor is an X2 4800+.Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks.HD3850 only works in one out of four mob ...
did you ever rma the card? HD3850 only works in one out of four mob ...
Not yet. Do you think it's the card that's the problem? How could it work in one mobo, but not in the others? Doesn't a video card either work or not work?
That PSU should be fine, I have a similar one. TBH I don't know why it would work on only 1 of 3 motherboards. Mine works fine with my motherboard so I never needed to check it out with a different mobo. I would RMA it and see what happens.
Yeah I'll do that. Thanks. :)
