Gigabyte, awesome motherboards at awesome prices. For example the DS3 that I own, or the DS4.Great overclocking abilities also.

I will take a look at it.
GigaByte, been the best for the buck, great overclocking, and great performance, with good bios support.
None, they're all pretty much the same.
None, they're all pretty much the same.
true but abit has been particularly good to me lately.
Gigabyte and MSI have been my favorites. Although, I have not been happy about the current AMD boards. The Intel boards on the other hand are making me pull away from AMD processors. So, AMD has 5 more months to get their act together and get me a non-SLI/Crossfire board with no less then 3 PCI slots, 8 SATA slots, in a manageable setup. AMD boards are a mess.
Gigabyte.
Reasonable price, reliable.
1 - xfx/evga2 - asus3 - dfi4 - msi
Asus for sure but you must be paitent and then Gigabyte comes for their great mobo priced
ABIT has an easy BIOS update through Windows. Other then that, most named brands are good. The DFI, ASUS,GIGABYTE, plus MSI are great mobo's.
I am going to have to say Gigabyte and DFI.
I like Gigabyte and DFI.
Gigabyte and ASUS haven't had any issue with them at all with either AMD or Intel builds
Asus because I have always used them and have had no problems with them as well
I don't really know what to look for in Mobos really, but my EVGA 680i SLI is really nice. I like the layout on it an such. My next mobo will probably be a Gigabyte though, they seem to be cheap and offer good performance. I don't think I'll need SLI either, I prefer single card set ups.
what is your favorite brand name motherboards and why?im in the process of looking for a new motherboard after my MSI one died and would like some non biased feedback i was thinking of either gigabyte or abit still not sure tho
according to the build in your sig, the motherboard by gigabyte in my sig should work for you if you're interested.it was $85 at newegg, but they've bumped the price up to $100 due to high demand.i'm very pleased with it because of the overclocking utilities, it looks sweet, it's easy to work with, and everything has been running very stable (i've run memtest for memory, prime95/superPI for cpu and memory, and 3dmark/ATI tool artifact scan/crysis for gpu) after overclocking.
Asus! Been using them since the 486 days, baby! Gigabyte would be my least favourite. Tried building bare S754 systems a few years ago with Gigabyte NF3-based boards. They both failed in less than 8 months.
