sapphire HD 2600 AGP in game issue

Hi,

I have a sapphire HD 2600 Pro AGP 512mb that i brought the other day to my world of warcraft machine, i installed it correctly and ensure it had enough power to run, which is fine, i installed catalyst version 7.1 (as per the cd) and no games displayed correct, WoW, UT 3, Farcry, CoD 4 etc, so i thought it was a driver issue, un-installed 7.1 and downloaded 8.1 per the ATI website, installed this, all works fines then as soon as i try a 3d based game, nothing displays correctly again, the card is not overheating, and definately has enough power, so i dont understand, some forums are saying that the ATI drivers are not compatible with the AGP version of this card, is there anything i can do to remedy the issue? P.s. when i say games dont display correctly, it messes the colours up, distorts the image, doesnt display any text etc.Please PM me if ya like.sapphire HD 2600 AGP in game issue
