nVidia 8800 GTS (G92) Vs 8800 GTX

Hi,Looking for opinions on this one as it seems to be nearing a cross road. I have an eVGA 8800 GTX 768MB - Stock.Looking at recent reviews it seems the new G92 8800GTS runs neck and neck with my GTX. I am thinking of selling off my 8800GTX and picking one of these up and using the left over to potentially go towards a second one. with the used market on the GTX stating to drop I am torn between the G92's or just wating until the GTX's hit a certain price point to add a second GTX. I run a Samsung 22'' LCD Model: 226 BW and love it and the reviews tend to say I am wasting the extra where my GTX has advantages because they excel better when over a 30'' LCD is used or higher resolution. I run res at: 1680 x 1050 (MyLCD's Maximum)Seems option 1 and getting the G92 makes more sense, but not being a GURU, I appreciate all opinions. Thanks,RamnVidia 8800 GTS (G92) Vs 8800 GTX
I think it sounds like you are just wasting your money. The performance difference between the two are minimal, and if you plan on getting a 2nd GTS down the line, then you are obviously either fairly satisfied with your current performance and/or unable to purchase a 2nd one.In either case you will have to wait.... So why not wait for the 9xxx series that launches in March/April?nVidia 8800 GTS (G92) Vs 8800 GTX
Well I can use the upgrade path when Febuary and the 9's come out, later this year I am planning on upgrading MB which will most likely be PCI-E 2.0. Given the current benchmarks with the G92 neck and neck and my cards used value being very close to the cost of 2 G92s, it seemed to make sense to make the move now, was looking for opinions on it.
