Dual boot Vista & XP question !!

I will talk on behalf of my friend who didnt listen to my advise sayign that im not pro enough comparingto you people:oops:
Anyway, hes going to get afull Vista install and hes planning to get Dual boot with the XP that hes using already for now.
He bought anew 120gb HDD for this reason and hes going to install the Vista on this HDD but his question that after he install the new OS, what shall he do for the programs and games ?? Does he need to re-install them again on the drive that has Vista on it ?? Or he can use the games directly from the other HDD that XP is on it.

Ive told him that he will need to re-install only the app/games/drivers that is different from Vista to XP such as VGA drivers, otherwise he can use them easily.

Hope you would tell him everything he needs and please show him abit that i was saying right :PDual boot Vista %26amp; XP question !!
He'll need to seperately install the games for both XP and Vista.Which is becuase as well as the files placed in program files, programs/games sometimes place files that they need in the Windows folder, and in the registry as well. That being said, you could always try, I've found that WoW will work without needing to be reinstalled on my other PC :)Dual boot Vista %26amp; XP question !!
lol, pro enough. For the record Your copmuter knowledge is decent enough, enough at least for this stuff.Anyways yes your friend needs to reinstall all his games/stuff.
Thanks at least i was right for some. I told him that he didnt need ot install everything again since all he needs Antivirus + WoW THATS IT !!!
And from the factwhich i knew already thatWoW doesnt need any re-installtion even after formatting the hdd (i mean to copy the installtion folder) will work without any problems. Anyway, most games can work even with splitting because the files you are talking about which goes into Windows Foler are usually registry or .dll system files and i could find many of these which will let me play right away without re-install my games
